You’re an incandescent light,
A force of Nature
Wrapped up in a corporeal form made of stardust,
Riding a rock,
That’s hurtling through space
You are inextricably interwoven through the fabric of immortality
What are you waiting for?
There’s nothing else that you need
So you may as well just …. shine.

As human beings we often get trapped or stuck in our egoic way of thinking so much so that we forget what our true nature is.
If you have ever been to the Louvre in Paris or the Accademia Gallery in Florence you will see several Michelangelo sculptures that are trapped within the marble slab that they were carved out of. These figures are imprisoned within the fabric of matter, waiting to be extricated but never achieving the liberation or transcendence that they seek.
They are a visual representation of us when we are in our lower nature. Michelangelo could see the figures and life forms within the huge blocks of marble that he worked with and he brought them to life with his genius and extraordinary sculpting abilities. The epitome of this we see in sculptures like the Pieta, the David and Moses.
Just like Michelangelo could see the radiance and light of life within huge slabs of marble, the truth of who you are is already within you. The greatness, the light, the divinity is already within you.
When tough things happened to you growing up, your ego gave you the illusion that you’re already dead. You died. So you don’t bother being more than you already are. You give up and don’t attempt things. It doesn’t occur to you that you’re alive. You’re walking around like the walking dead in a trance of survival. Your beliefs create a condition that you are compelled to fulfill which is, “I must survive no matter what.” To compensate for that you shut down, withdraw & disconnect from life, from love, from your heart.
This then causes you to use your will to refrain from using your will. You are omitting using your will to focus on what you love because you don’t believe you can have it. You believe that it is dead to you and out of reach. You believe that you’re dead, insignificant, worthless and powerless.
Your Ego is unconsciously running an opposing definition to you being the light, being divine being your Genius that renders this higher aspect of you to being unviable.
It annihilates this aspect of you. It cannot exist. It must not exist. It gives you the indelible impression that you will not survive if you do not heed the warning from your ego, if you don’t complete the condition that it is imposing on you.
It is telling you that you are already dead or very close to being dead and therefore you’re not capable of being successful or viable. It is simply not feasible and we go along with this hook, line and sinker. We don’t even question it. We just assume it’s the truth.
We begin compensating for our very survival and we turn our backs on creating what we love.
We have all had experiences growing up where we thought we were a “goner” we were done in, there was no hope for us, or we’d be dead once our parents found out.
Can you relate?
Newsflash! You didn’t die. It just seemed or appeared like it was going to happen or likely to happen. However it didn’t happen because YOU are still here! As large as life and in the flesh!
You have just been acting dead, playing dead.
You have just forgotten that while you are living and breathing in this body you are very much alive, powerful & invincible.
This opposing definition overlay, that is hidden and buried deep within your unconscious has been running your life.
The human spirit is indomitable.
Who you are is indomitable.
Life doesn’t take you out. It’s a journey of discovering what you are made of.
You are still here. It is no accident. It is your job now that you are awake to keep yourself awake by facing the demons, by facing the dragon within. Be able to sit in the tension, in your inner conflict regardless of whether you are feeling uncomfortable or you are being fed limiting beliefs and opposing definitions by your ego. You must develop that muscle. Be able to observe it instead of resisting it, running from it, avoiding it or resolving your psychological tension.
Your dragon (a representation of your ego) is actually your ally waiting for you to accept, allow and acknowledge its existence. It’s your egoic vehicle. Embrace it!
It is never as bad as you think it is and it is like having your very own quality control person. When you experience the inner critic you get to take a look at what’s coming up for you and uplevel how you are choosing to show up. Uplevel how you are being and behaving.
When you are operating at your highest level frequency, the raging voice disappears and you’re able to use your beliefs and identity as the fuel for creating what you love instead of being taken hostage by it.
You transcend the ordinary, the mundane, the struggle and step into the realm of the Divine.
You step into the realm of infinite possibilities.
