One of the things I do each day is to spend time connecting with the Divine, connecting with God. I do this by journaling, doing prayer, going into the Pure Awareness and also being in gratitude for everything that comes my way each day. I also spend time in Nature, taking in the beauty of what is around me and being grateful for the experience, whether it is the sun on my face, the gentle breeze on my skin, the feel of the earth underneath my feet, the majesty of the mountains and the endless blue sky above me.

I don’t know if you have a similar experience, but sometimes my life seems to be an endless “to do list” of things that I need to work on or accomplish for my business or for people I am working with and while I am productive and get things done, something seems missing in all the “doing.”

I don’t feel like I am “being.”

Action is necessary to accomplish tasks, goals etc. to achieve outcomes and get results. However there is also a need for balance and the ability to go within and connect to the Creator, the Source and get filled up with that life force that is within us.

As I journal and take time out to ponder each day, I do a daily review. It’s a great thing to do a review of what you did each day. Did you accomplish all you set out to do? Did you fall short? How can you do it differently? Who can help you?

What else could you have done? How else could it have been done? Were you grateful? What act(s) of kindness did you do for others?

I give myself the time to connect with what I am passionate about, my dream, my vision, my inner guidance system that calls to my spirit.

Take some time out each day to also focus on your dream, focus on your vision, give yourself the space to think about what your dream looks like – what are you doing, who are you with, what does it feel like? You can plan out the steps of your dream or vision. You can create a mind map of vision board to map out the ideas and concepts to begin concretizing how it will unfold and become manifest.

By being in communion with the Divine, I feel recharged. I feel a love and connection like nothing else I can even begin to describe and I feel a level of peace that permeates throughout my day regardless of how active or busy I become.

My spirit yearns to be at one with the Creator and each day, when I take the time to do this I feel complete, the thing that seems to be missing is no longer missing.

“We are spiritual beings having a human experience” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

This is something I can certainly relate to, how about you?
