In every moment we are receiving. Every moment. We have insights and intuition that comes to us from our Superconscious. It comes to us from the Divine.
In every moment we are receiving messages. Our ego communicates to us as thoughts and feelings. We have beliefs and an identity that create the structure that is our perceived survival.
If we remain within the boundary of thoughts and feelings we will be viable, we will be safe and we will live another day. But at what cost? What don’t we see? What doesn’t exist when we live this way?
We miss seeing, light, illumination and inspiration. We miss seeing possibility and receiving the truth.
We cannot perceive of what is possible, what is beyond, thought, feeling and even imagination.
Receiving is being able to step into the unknown and see what cannot be seen with the senses.
It can only be seen and experienced with the heart.
The journey home is the ability to receive what is truly available to us when we are standing in our heart when we are experiencing being, the Pure Awareness that is us.
Transformation comes when we can see beyond our limitations, conforming tendencies and desire to fix life and make it right, make it all perfect.
In the midst of the messiness, the conflict, chaos and pain, in the place where you’d least expect it, there it is. There is a gift that is being given to us if we are willing to receive it.
Like the Sufi saying, “The dysfunctional personality is the gateway to the soul.”
The lotus grows out of the mud. Albedo (genius, intuition, wisdom, insight) is born out of Negredo (matter, substance, the fuel for creating.)
Receiving constantly brings information to our awareness. When we are having positive life experiences, receiving is something we willingly open up to as we are already experiencing something that we perceive as “joyful.”
However it is not the emotion that we are seeking. Chasing “feeling good”, is simply a compensation to fix ourselves and perfect what is deemed to be imperfect. We think there is something wrong with us if we are not feeling happy all the time.
When we are stuck in our Negredo, our thoughts, beliefs and identity, we cannot perceive that we are anything other than Negredo. Our Greatness and divinity is hidden from us buried under our emotional turbulence and avoiding or denying what we perceive to be pain.
What we are really seeking is being. When we are being we are experiencing presence. We are in the state of flow, we are in the present moment and we experience ourself as the Self.
The byproduct of being is happiness, joy and bliss.
As humans we are made of matter and Pure Awareness which has no substance or form. We are Relative, constantly changing on the surface but within us is Pure Consciousness, Pure Awareness, the Absolute that is non-changing.
We are a sea of constant change that floats on the ocean of non-change.
The key for us is to be able to receive and experience ourself as being. This is where we are in the present moment, connected. We are in flow state where time seems to slow down or elongates and we get to experience ourself as nothing other than the Self connected to everything through all time and space and when we experience ourself this way, we experience joy, we experience happiness, we experience bliss.
Being doesn’t require any other person or thing. Being is not impacted by people, things or circumstances. Other people or things are simply expressions of consciousness if they happen to be present when we experience being. They are not the cause or the origin of our experience, The origin is what is contained within us. Our physical body operates as a receiver and we “receive” what is transmitted to us via our Superconscious.
What you are actually experiencing is your true self being reflected back to you.
If you hit any resistance, your resistance is what is hitting up against the boundary of your beliefs and identity.
Receiving is about connecting with your heart. It is about connecting with the pure being the Pure Awareness that is you. When you are ready, there is infinite potential and Universes waiting for you to explore.
