There’s a crucial creative principle that goes like this: Creating is about engaging non-personal forces to compel the end results and outcomes that we want in our life.
There’s something that’s beyond us that can support us and help us in creating a life way beyond anything we could do on our own. On our own we have limited capacity.
However, there’s this extra capacity that works for us that guides us and shows us what action we should take but also that there is something mystical going on, some higher power going on where somehow we have more luck or have more of an auspicious, fortuitous outcome.
For example, we meet the right person when we need them. There’s stuff we can’t do that gets done for us. It drops in our lap and gets put in place. Things work out for us.
When I went to Australia in March last year everything fell into place. The finances for the ticket and cost of the trip appeared, the accommodation was taken care of, I extended my trip for an extra week, I caught up with friends & family, a friend of mine took me out to lunches & dinners and we drove around Sydney and walked on the beach it was this magical holiday.
I didn’t know how it was going to work out. I simply let go. I completely let go of needing to do everything myself and whatever was needed simply fell into place. I listened to the intuition that came to me and when something was required for me to do or take care of I simply did what I was guided to do.
When you stop trying to do it all yourself, you get the sense that there’s something bigger than yourself. There’s something bigger, greater than us that we can join forces with that will help us to start thriving. You’ll come to discover it’s not about you and what you can do on your own.
When you hand over managing everything on your own to whatever you want to call it, the magic, the Superconscious, the Genius, the Creative Spirit, naturally through that function we begin to thrive. There are no steps or conditions that you need to fulfill before it’s possible. It is simply, just hand it over. Give up control and automatically, inevitably you will thrive, you will flourish. You will commence creating outcomes that are aligned with your true heart’s desire.
Stop trying to manage doing it all yourself. Stop trying to cope with it all yourself. Stop relying just on your own capacity. Just stop! Because it’s killing you. And that’s all that’s required. Because if you hand over your life, if you hand over the coping & management of your life to a power higher than yourself, you’ll have the forces of the Universe conspire on your behalf to create what you want, what you’d love to create, be, do and have.
People ask, “well what must I do then?” Just do that, just let go and then wait. Simply sit in the creative tension. Be in the mystery, be in the unknown. The intuition and the wisdom will come to you on what specific action you’ll need to take, then you act on that, follow through with that. Your life will inevitably get back on course and you will thrive.
And after that it’s a mystery! It’s organic. Life organically emerges. Just like a plant organically emerges once a seed erupts and pushes through the mantle of the soil. It just grows and flourishes organically of its own accord because it is filled with a higher power, a life force that is greater than itself.
