When we don’t allow things in our life, not only do we keep ourselves stuck in our Egoic structure and identity, firmly entrenched in our beliefs we also forgo being aware of the opportunities that lay before us. We become blind to them and they simply float over our head as if they are invisible.

In the not allowing we are denying ourselves our heart.

When we go for what we love and don’t get the outcome or end result we want, there is an opportunity to get information or feedback about what didn’t work. We can get clarity and insight on what was coming up for us. What belief was the driving force that was putting the power and energy into a negative vision, the thing we were avoiding,  which of course ends up creating the very thing we don’t want.

Additionally, contained within our Egoic structure (known as Negredo), is the diamond, is the jewel. When we grasp this and allow the wisdom and insights that are obvious, (because out of Negredo arises Albedo, the wisdom, the intuition) we then get to capitalize upon this as an opportunity and follow through with Rubedo (the fixing agent) capture it, concretize it, manifest it… What we create is greater than what we could ever envisioned.

Several centuries ago there was a poor farmer in India who owned a small piece of land that was covered in rocks. One of the rocks from his land that was fairly large, he used as a doorstop for the shack of a house that he lived in. It was just a worthless rock.

Eventually, being unable to cultivate much from the land, he was forced to sell it and move away. He sold it for a mere pittance as the land didn’t yield much when it came to crops and the shack that was on the land was rundown and needed much work.

He left with the clothes on his back a few possessions and not much else. He left behind that old doorstop. It was discarded as a useless item that had no value other than keeping the door open or closed.

The person who purchased the land and the ramshackle house that was built on it, noticed something very odd. The rock that was the doorstop was very dense and heavy. When he dug out some of the other rocks on the land that were similar to the doorstop, they too were also heavy and dense more so than regular rocks.

He had a hunch that there was something about them, they were certainly not like ordinary rocks. He had an acquaintance who was as jeweler who knew a thing or two when it came to gemstones.

Going along with his intuition, he took some samples of these heavy and dense rocks to the jeweler so he could run some tests on them.

Lo and behold they discovered that the rocks were in fact diamonds. The farmer had no idea that the worthless piece of land covered in useless chunks of rock was in fact worth millions and that old doorstop was one of the largest raw diamonds ever discovered which eventually became the Kohinoor diamond that is now found in the Crown Jewels in England. Kohinoor is Persian for mountain of light.

If you are unable to recognize that you are a diamond, a raw diamond, a diamond in the rough, uncut, not yet faceted, polished and dazzling… that you are nonetheless the raw material… then you will be just like the farmer, stuck, downtrodden without any resources struggling to survive.

Your beliefs will have you convinced that you are worthless, not good enough, not capable, not perfect, not safe, not significant, that you are powerless etc. and that is all you’ll ever see and be.

You will be blinded to the truth, you will not be aware of your worth and value that you are priceless, filled with infinite resources and wealth like the farmer’s land, and you will be kept from the reality of who you are. Instead you’ll see yourself as a worthless piece of rock devoid of potential and possibility. That is what your beliefs will lead you to believe.

If you don’t allow yourself to be the diamond, see yourself as the diamond and as the light, then you will keep perpetuating the oscillation of going in and out of your Egoic orientation. You will just keep looping around and around and around.

Your Negredo, you as Negredo, you are the diamond. That’s the reality.

Most if not all of you are too afraid to be the diamond. It can’t possibly be the truth, so you hide from it, deny it, avoid it and resist it.

If you don’t allow yourself to be the diamond, you’re keeping yourself as a doorstop.

Is that the end result you really want?
