Talk about Observing the Obvious!!! As I drove home this afternoon on the way to do a Zoom meeting with my team, lo and behold there was this stunning peacock on the side of the road that appeared out of nowhere as if by magic!!! In the streets of Las Vegas no less… I think he heard about the wonderful group exercises I was going to be doing and wanted to join in lol! He reminded me of how all the people in my team were brilliantly showing up and sharing their magic.
Isn’t it time you showed your Divine colors and let the world experience the magic of how truly beautiful you really are!
I later thought more about this serendipitous experience. It was as if he was a sacred sign. It was quite uncanny to see this amazing bird in all its glory, almost mystical really. I have been driving along that particular road on the way home from work every day for months on end and never before or since have I ever seen a peacock let alone any animal or person walking along this major thoroughfare.
It was like driving along a major freeway and right there in the middle of “nowhere” is a peacock, fully resplendent with his iridescent colors and magnificent tail fanned out. Certainly not something you see everyday.
The last time I saw peacocks anywhere, was when I was traveling in India a few years ago. They were roaming freely in an open field and I remember feeling incredibly uplifted by the surprise sighting and their sheer breathtaking beauty.
Curious about this sign, I decided to dig a little further and see what “peacocks” symbolize. If nothing else this was a metaphorical symbol.
Peacock spirit medicine is akin to rebirth, like being born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It’s a symbol of being all you can be with zero limitations, utterly limitless!
Embracing infinite possibility, grace and dignity. Dreaming, prosperity, poise and self-expression. The peacock tail has the “eyes” of the stars. The peacock as a spirit animal represents resurrection, renewal and immortality. It is the epitome of beauty. It also represents self-confidence, integrity and honor.
Peacocks love to stroll beside us as a reminder that what we dare to dream is possible! Leadership, presence, elegance, rejoicing in life’s wonders is our birthright. Our vision, our personal truth is part of our Divine destiny. Peacock medicine is to conspire with the highest alchemy of the universe.
With the melee of all the events since Covid-19 struck in full force as well as the “zircus” (cross between a zoo and a circus) that has been displayed in the media and social media, this was a refreshing change. My peacock was a Divine gift that was sent for me to behold.
A peacock doesn’t hide what it is, nor does it take itself too seriously. It is light-hearted, playful and walks in its own assuredness, in its beauty. It is not ostentatious; on the contrary it is regal and simply divine. It walks in authenticity. Its greatest gift is its veracity; it shows its true colors for all to witness.
Embracing your inner truth and allowing your true colors to show not only benefits you, it is inspiring for others.
Here’s what’s obvious to me from the peacock’s wondrous appearance.
It’s time for each and every one of us to be the change. Let’s begin by looking at each other through the eyes of God. To see the Divine in everyone. I am looking at you with love. No matter where you are, no matter what you have done, I see the Divine in you and I am sending you love and blessings…
