      Intuition is not mystical. Most people treat it li Intuition is not mystical. Most people treat it like it is something you either have or you don't. Something that arrives when the conditions are right and disappears when life shows up. But that's not what intuition is. Intuition isn't something you either have or you don't. It's inherent. Every human being is born with it and it works like a signal constantly relaying information to you. The reason most people can't access it consistently isn't because they're not intuitive enough. It's because the system they're operating from is too loud. Two years ago I went on my first shark dive in Roatan, Honduras. We got our gear ready, had our briefing from the dive master, we were going 75 feet down, about 23 meters and everyone was buzzing with excitement. Then it was my turn to jump in. The moment I hit the water, I felt a huge fear rising in my chest. My breathing became fast and shallow. My partner who was already in the water, looked at me and called out, "Hey, are you alright?" I was treading water with visions of the movie Jaws swimming around in my head. "I just need a minute!" And in that minute, instead of pushing the fear away, I stopped and acknowledged it. Yes, I was scared. And that was OK. Then I asked myself , “What do I really want? What would I love in this moment?” Beneath the fear, a signal rose up from my intuition. It was a feeling of joy, of being alive and fully present. I had an insight that I would love to be in the water with these majestic creatures, to observe them up close in their natural habitat. What a gift that would be. So I took a slow even breath. And I began my descent. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. We explored how your nervous system’s “Survival OS” can quietly organize your life around protection, even when you think you’re trying to move forward. Then we looked at the 4 common patterns people default to under pressure: Analysis paralysis + procrastination (waiting for certainty) Riding emotional waves (waiting for the right “mood” to feel inspired before you take action) Hiding behind someone else’s vision (waiting for permission to live yours) Withholding what’s true for you (waiting for proof or external validation from others) We also explored the pathway out, the bridge back to sovereignty, which is living a life you love on your own terms. The feedback was genuinely awesome. People shared that they finally had language for what’s been happening “under the hood,” and could see what’s been driving their waiting, hesitating, and self-doubt. It made me smile when people said it helped them see themselves without judgment and finally understand what they’ve been doing under stress. It isn't even because we are stuck. It is because we are wired for safety. In high-stakes environments, our nervous system learns a very specific lesson: Indispensability equals safety. This is what I call your Survival Operating System. For years, my Survival OS ran on a simple code: “As long as you are the one holding it all together, you’re safe.” So I organized my life around being the person who could handle anything. I was the reliable right hand at work. I was the stabilizer at home. It wasn't a flaw. It was a highly effective protection mechanism. It earned me trust, love, and influence. But a Survival OS is designed to ensure your safety, not your fulfillment. It keeps you functioning at an elite level for everyone else, even while it starves your own potential.       Recently, while visiting a Mayan village in Belize Recently, while visiting a Mayan village in Belize, I watched women prepare traditional food the way it has been passed down through generations as a family, in community, in peace, with deep knowing and care. Women with young nursing babies had a way of keeping their little ones close while cooking, using a simple sling with a cloth handle that sits around your head. I tried it myself, and was struck by how free, connected, and effortless it felt. With every movement, the sling gently rocks the baby, and the baby can feel their mother’s heartbeat. Close, safe, and all is well. This reminded me of what I’ve been creating: a new work called Genius Gate — distilled from over 20 years of experience, love, and devotion. Since the passing of my beloved Mother last week, it feels like her legacy has come full circle. I can feel her heartbeat in mine, cheering me on to bring this into the world.       To my dearest family and friends, It is with a hea To my dearest family and friends, It is with a heavy heart that I share my beloved Mum, June Allen, who we affectionately call her ‘Junie’ has passed away peacefully in her sleep. My Mum was one of a kind. She had the most fantastic sense of humor and we got to share many moments together, laughing and delighting about life and being able to see the funny side of things which was one of her greatest gifts. I will miss you Mum. I love you with all my heart and I know that even though you are no longer here, you are always with me lighting the way and cheering me on. This photo was taken last year on Mum’s 93rd birthday. Junie was surrounded by family and friends who loved her. I will always cherish that time and that I got to be there celebrating you.❤️
      At the time when I realized that I’d put on weight At the time when I realized that I’d put on weight, I didn’t slow down and take stock. I reacted. I tried eating differently. I started exercising more. I threw energy at the problem but nothing shifted. I was busy trying to change something I hadn’t fully acknowledged yet. I’ve seen numerous response with clients. One client didn’t try to change anything at all. She just adjusted her routines to avoid mirrors. Finding ways not to look too closely. Another resigned himself to the fact that this was the way he was always going to be, so why bother changing. Another got frustrated with how her body changed and was disappointed in herself. Different responses. Same instinct. None of us stopped functioning. We just kept moving in whatever way felt more manageable and easier to deal with.
